Perhaps they would! But for me - I watched Pokémon as a kid, so my knowledge of Pokémon are pretty much the 'gen 1' kind. Y'know, Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Squirtle (Squirtle Gang rules!) and Charizard. And he's a badass dragon! Besides, my first Pokémon game was Pokémon Red on the old OG GameBoys!
