Today's discovery: you can create quite a successful lesson starter by getting students to play the Prisoner's Dilemma. (They were playing for chocolate rewards, not sentencing time. I am informed that I do not have the power to imprison students, plus it would make M. Foucault far too excited.)

I always think that in real life it matters so much if you are snitching on the mafia who will get to you no matter how, or Aunty Alice who will sulk a bit.
