Tech tip: if you have a USB-A to USB-C connector, keep the USB-C end covered when not in use. Under exposure to air, a USB-C plug shrivels into a specification only used for MP3 players manufactured in Skopje in the early 2000s, which is why you have so many more of those than the cable you need.
