then Donald Lam/Bertha Cool then i read the Charlotte and Thomas Pitt books, which are lovely then Kate Daniels then Eve Dallas (JD Robb, I'm still working my way through those) i also really enjoyed the Dennis Lehane Patrick Kenzie/Angela Gennaro books too

my favorite author is Raymond Chandler, and I love the Philip Marlowe books. they're so good. i also love Tommy and Tuppence, and Nick and Nora Charles.
