I'm quite fond of Caerlaverock castle. It's close to where I grew up in southern Scotland. Its got an unusual triangular shape to it.

We are lucky to have all these ancient buildings, everytime I visit a new castle I learn as much as I can about it's history. Carreg Cennen castle is amazing for a vist, it's the only castle built on top of a cavern. They used it as an escape route
