Because if the Democrats aren't wholey corrupt like Republicans then ppl like this guy come that much closer to realizing they're the baddies. "The Democrats are just as corrupt as the GOP!" The Democrats actually try to not be. I'm not saying they're perfect, but they do at least try a little.
