I’ve seen them glowing in the ground/grass as late as November where I am in NWPA. They’ll hang out in the pine trees at the end of my drive. It’s so cool because it looks like the trees are decorated with fairy lights.

I adore the “glowworms” in New Zealand. Seeing them was a peak experience. I just wish my eyes glowed like that in the dark, @neilhimself.neilgaiman.com. But you know how I am with glowing entities.
