I think I picked up enough of the plot of The Omen from popular culture that I got the references in general, but now I’ve got to go watch the movie and see what I missed.

i assumed most people knew good omens was a riff on the omen. must be wild to read good omens and then see the omen afterward.

Well, now that it's been laid out and confirmed, I know I'm not crazy for noticing the similarities and thinking it. I'm one of them who saw The Omen before Good Omens.
