We’d barely ever need the 200 (realistic) miles, only for when we go on holiday to lovely EU France in the summers.
Saw a new Custom this week. Now THAT is a good looking van.
Yes, the e-Transit Tourneo and Custom should arrive in the summer. Diesels and PHEV arrive before that. In fact I think diesel ones are available already. 236-mile range might be a bit tight on a fully-loaded Tourneo though , especially if you’re doing motorway miles.
Probably the most wife-pleasuring thing I can think of🤔: www.drive-electric.co.uk/electric-car...
I think we might need to go and look at one of these though… www.autoexpress.co.uk/ford/transit...
Also, sorry, thank you for answering my question. I knew about the Traaaaaaaansitahhhhh and we’ve always liked those, wife would’ve loved the old diesel one, but the i800 was more affordable. We still regret selling ours 😞
Ah, for some reason I didn’t get a notification you’d replied, sorry. E-Vivaro (which has the biggest battery) doesn’t have the range to prevent child annoyance 😩 Ideally around 250 miles (so 200 miles in reality) is what we need. Any battery upgrades you know of coming?
Can I find these advised for lease as an EV?!? @neilmbriscoe.bsky.social , any word on that aspect?
Vauxhall E-Vivaro? Or Peugeot and Citroen cousins? E-Transit Custom? Or just say feck it and get a Defender 130 V8 (which is less an EV, more of a mobile power station).
