For social care, we're already reaching the 'NHS with a country attached' position Wes Streeting warned of this morning. It would be so easy just to cave in and accept that role as the *only* way for social care to gain traction and survive.

But for people who rely on it & ironically, for the future of our health and the NHS, that would be a massive mistake. Social care equally needs reform to shift action 'upstream', from acute needs to primary & secondary prevention & into the hands of people & communities
