Frightening. >10% of all emissions in the past 5 years is the most depressing part, to me. While there has been so much talk of reduction, damage, etc, clearly nothing is getting through to the people making the decisions.

I first started worrying about climate change in 1984 when my grandfather told me about it (after reading some science magazines). I though the adults will take care of the issue since accumulation of CO₂ to the atmosphere was so clearly due to humans. Then I grew up and realized I had been naive.

Whoa, 10% in 5 years? That's crazy. I was aware that ghg emissions are still increasing globally, but this is really fast.
I'll say it again: humans think they're the smartest creatures on earth, but in reality they're the planet's worst nuisance to all living things.
