US policing is broken indeed, but Trump is not "just saying how it works out loud", he's actively working towards a dystopian vision of authoritarianism. He's the leading candidate for the presidency right now, these statements can't be treated with kid gloves or handwaved away.

I think my comment is more generally how much worse Trump would be as President. Definitely not trying to defend Biden on this, but Trump's intention to expel protesters is truly dark and should be worthy of outrage too.

I've been following, and yeah it's been absolutely shameful.
