Yup. This instantly killed any goodwill I felt towards Inktober. It was a great idea, but Jake Parker's attempt to turn it into a brand went completely against the spirit of the entire thing. Oh, and also a reminder that he plagiarised the work of Alphonso Dunn.

I vaguely remember another fella on Twitter who started a comic-related hashtag, and then tried to turn it into a brand he had ownership of when it blew up. The very fact I can't remember their name tells you how well that went.
