everything is a question of who makes mistakes first: yes as a newer player/team you will make them more frequently, but it doesnt mean that even the biggest names in the lobby will have perfect plays. look for those opportunities and abuse them, you are just as good as anyone in the lobby just for having the balls to play in it.

give yourself time to gather experience and material for analysis. yes i know youre tired of waiting (i am too and im just starting in comp haha), but believe me seeing your improvement makes it so worth it 🙏🏻 watch pl vods, sub in for teams in scrims and tourneys, get those hours in!
most importantly prioritize your mental: apex is genuinely 99% about mental, if youre not having fun or if youre demoralized you will not improve. walk in with the only expectation being to surpass yourself, dont throw yourself under the bus for doing mistakes: you NEED to make mistakes in order to learn from them
if anything frustrating happens in game: let it stay in the lobby, dont drain your energy to fight people in chats. use that frustration and rage and build it into motivation, tell yourself that you WILL beat that team's ass in time, keep working towards that goal
