Where is "FEMA is inept" coming from? It's coming from ~40% of the trailers they provided to Katrina survivors being found to have toxic levels of formaldehyde and substandard construction materials.

So since Katrina I have moved for times, been married 10 years, divorced 4 had a kid, had about 7 jobs and gained 20 pounds. Things change. As bad as FEMA was then it was better than help many countries offer.

Like I think it's impossible to overstate the loss of credibility and trust that occurred because of the shit handling of Katrina.

That was four presidential administrations ago. FEMA is not an inept govt. org anymore.
