The monster and the human are the same person. This is the first time I ever draw a monster by the way.

The past self is dressed in a junihitoe, which is layers upon layers of kimonos. Worn by noble ladies in the Heian period. Her black hair is loose and extremely long. Her right hand is lifted, the multi-colored sleeves covering most of her figure. Behind them is a cherry blossom tree. With the past self, it has no petals or buds. It's barren. With the present self, it is fully bloomed. There is a blue sky behind them as well.
