Even considering bsky back when it was better though, I think that fundamentally it isn’t good for me. It gets in the way of me talking with friends. It makes me feel hopeless and like the world is worse than it is. It doesn’t make me feel connected to people. So, this is goodbye. (6/7)

When I log on now it feels a little too like twitter back when I stopped. I can’t say for certain if it was going open that caused this. It could’ve just been a matter of time before there was some social media meltdown that made it feel this way. (5/7)

do think this space used to be for and by the dolls. However, around when they abandoned invite codes, it took a gradual turn for the worse. I think recently I had to admit it to myself. This place was a better, kinder text based social media. (4/7)

I felt I should give a little concluding thoughts before I leave. I joined here after taking a 6 month break from the internet back in 2022 - 2023. I was nervous about it, but heard a lot of good things that were reinforced by my first few months here. (3/7)

I just wish the thing that made all the weird cis people and assimilationists decide to stick it to the transgenders was like an actual, substantive bad thing that one of us did

In no world would a group cis people telling a journalist to stop writing for their paper because of a concerning trend in its reporting turn into a crusade against all cis people. It’s because we’re trans.
