Yup, I did research my first two undergrad summers because TAing required teaching experience, and then TA'd my second two summers. Then went to grad school and couldn't get time off to go back (and now small kiddos).

Okay I've answered this one before but forgot to include nerd camp?? I also went to nerd camp, and then went back to nerd camp as a TA as an undergrad.

Women especially but all parents. 20yrs later I’m still kinda pissed over my grad school for pushing a friend out for the audacity of having a son born with SMA. With the old dude who told grad school me w/ 3 kids trying to balance wife’s career to just work harder. Why did I get tired & leave?
