The first time my kid ever said "love" was in reference to potatoes. Sounds about right.
IMO Zotero is the best free version, but since my PhD advisor got me a Paperpile account I haven't gone back! Now my postdoc lab uses Paperpile too. Excellent sharing/search/organization features plus really good integration with Google Docs and Word.
Pediatricians are top tier. Toddler had a fall this morning and needed to get checked out (non-urgently), and brought Elmo with us. Ped demonstrated everything on Elmo before toddler and it was great
(he's okay, not bad enough for ER)
Happy first day back to school of the New Year, my toddler decided to faceplant off the changing table while getting dressed so we're going to the pediatrician instead 🤦♀️
Oh yeah. It gets much better when they drop down to two (mostly) consistent naps.
2021, was 7 months pregnant, asleep by 10pm. 2022, had 8 month old, asleep by 9pm. 2023... 8 months pregnant and have a toddler, will likely be asleep by 9pm again.
*screams into the void* preeclampsia round 2, and earlier diagnosis this time. Really hoping placenta & baby stay put for at least a few more weeks 😭
If it helps, I'm very excited for one of those conferences!! But yeah that's a lot to have going on at one time 😅
