The economy as it applied to lancers rule system was what probably annoyed me the most. Magic 3D Printers just hand-waved any need for resource management. I looked at Long Rim which has a modicum of an economic system, but finally decided that it probably wasn’t the game I wanted to run.

I'm perfectly fine with it because the game is clearly not interested in the question of "Okay, but *how* do you get your monomolecular blade mounted onto your 20-foot-tall swordsman mech?" and the titchy nature of the "economy" in most RPGs that don't do high-level abstraction annoys me anyways.
