Sun Worshipper (Empire) cone 6 stoneware, underglaze, iron oxide wash

this guy was made as a gift to the owner of my last studio space. He is the best studio buddy. My favorite part is that the brown/main fur color is just the clay body I love love love how toasty it got at cone 6. (even if the pink glaze on his nose and paws burnt out...)
