Could you clarify what you mean by "standard manuscript formatting" for those of us who might not have a clue what that means?

Hi there. I have an artist interested in providing accompanying art for my submission. Is that permitted? If so, they would love to know the specifications/requirements. If not, I'll submit text only. Thanks!
