I think the goal of a review isn't an "accurate" reading of the text but an interesting reading of the text - something personal, entertaining, insightful or instructive

Hmm. I like it when reviews describe a person's experience with the game, without trying to do much more. That usually lets me decide whether I'd enjoy it (even if they didn't). Or at least gives me enough to know whether I should take a look.
