3. If we're gonna do amour-shipping, we're doing it RIGHT. Actually give Ash some level of liking to Serena, we don't have to have him immediately reach the love conclusion, but at least give him a feeling he just can't put his finger on.
2. Foreshadowing the Battle Bond to a greater extent. Well take various moments with Froakie/Frogadier where Ash begins to feel slight pain during battles, and when Battle Bond occurs, let's throw in various POV shots where Ash can just straight-up see what Greninja is seeing.
