A quick shout out to the activists, many of them in states that have been hostile to reproductive justice for decades, most of the Black and brown women, who have spent decades changing the framing, changing the language, and building this movement that has gotten us to here.

Growing up in a conservative Catholic family, I was told--you won't need abortion if you just make "good choices." But sometimes abortion is the "good choice" that makes all the other choices possible. So, I was deeply grateful to hear Kamala Harris acknowledge that reality last night.

And here's the reminder - this movement is helping us fight to get protection for abortion access? And we have to fight tooth and nail for Black and brown folx that are in danger at every stage of building and protecting their families. It is a long road.
