What does this mean?! A 3% fee is increasing the prices.

They know that we have no sovereignty as customers. They'll guilt you into rounding up your payment for a corporate tax write-of and expect a tip up front for takeout.

The 'hospitality' fee will just get taken out of what little tip they were going to give their server especially if it's a line item. Servers also have to 'tip out' the bartender and any food runners A SET % of tab no matter what their actual tip.

It's legally distinct "not junk fee not price increase" hidden fee. Would be very illegal here.

It increases the price for *you* without increasing the taxes *they* need to pay. Any "hospitality" business has "fees" like this. Check your next hotel bill for a "resort fee".

Perhaps! but what about a 2.99% fee. Who's to say

Not just increasing the prices, but taxing the poor at an unfair rate.

That's interesting. I have to pay to be served? I guess that makes sense of the restaurant owner doesn't want to pay their employees proper wages. I always tip the extraorinary servers 20%. Mediocre services will always be 5%
