Right-wing culture warriors' theory that radical leftists control academia and use it ruthlessly force left-wing beliefs on people was always insane. But it looks even crazier with administrations—the ones with the most power on campus—calling in police against left-wing protestors.

It is simply not true that radical leftists took over all major institutions and use them to crush the right, and mainstream figures should stop being afraid to say so

I was pestered for years by my stepdad and his friends because I worked at "Moonbat Harvard." I worked in administration for 15 years and can confirm it's incredibly uptight and conservative. This myth that academia is wildly libertine flies in the face of all evidence, and it drives me nuts.

I have a theory about this theory: 1. Conservatives believe their ideas are common sense and widely supported. 2. My conservative ideas are not popular with most people and in fact the youths are telling me to STFU 3. The only explanation is leftist indoctrination

*Are* they "left-wing" tho? Or only in the "not actually bad-faith centrists" sense

I still remember when "The Twitter Files" were released and they said it confirmed that they were being suppressed when *some* Nazi accounts and uses of racial slurs were being suppressed, and only a fraction to the amount that anything even remotely left of center was being suppressed.

Well they’re paranoid. “Ruthlessly force beliefs on people”, isn’t that what the right does?
