Isometric D&D remains delightful in a Baldur's Gate/Planescape Torment/Icewind Dale kind of a way.

A screenshot from a D&D game hosted on Roll20. Characters on an isometric map stand around a pool of water in the floor of a dungeon caorridor.

Nearly time to begin this year's Submarine Design & Aquisition Course, and in line with established tradition on The Other Site, time for me to tease the mnemonic names of the concepts this year's students will be designing. HOPLITE ICEBERG JAVELIN KINESIS LINEBACKER MAGPIE NEPTUNE

Gender affirming care saves lives. Study published in Nature brings heartbreaking, horrifying news about the effects of anti-trans legislation, including healthcare bans, on transgender youth. Infuriating. This was 100% preventable. Give trans kids the healthcare and respect they deserve.

Groundbreaking Study: Anti-trans State Laws Increased Suicide Attempts By 72%

The study, published in Nature, offers critical insight into the effects of anti-trans legislation, including healthcare bans, on transgender youth and is the first study of its kind.

Tonight's D&D game. I've been dabbling with using isometric art (mostly by the wonderful Peter Edgar www.patreon.com/TheDungeonSk...) and it just looks so beautiful in a way I'm not used to with a VTT. It's almost like we're playing our own 90's isometric Baldur's Game game.

Four adventurers explore a flagstoned dungeon - isometric artwork.

A very long but enjoyable day helping Dave run his seabed warfare game Cobalt Rocks. Those undersea cables sure look vulnerable, how do you want to defend them?

A table with a game map, pile of counters and a laptop, ready for a game of COBALT ROCKS.

BSky account # 705,750 Maybe it's just that humans really like to see patterns, but of the many numbers that have been randomly assigned to me in my life, I feel like I've lucked out and had a lot that are particularly easy to remember.

Carrier ops in the bar at Connections UK. Maaannnn this game (ABF) really needs too much table.
