Worried. They scare the shit out of me. It’s literally like watching 1930s Nazi Germany in real time.

The state has no business doling out capital punishment. It gets things wrong. It executes innocent people. Blindered individuals like Antonin Scalia might claim otherwise, but it does. The state has executed innocent people and will do so again. The only remedy is to abolish capital punishment.

And I just realised I got one too. :)

🧵 3/3 all these years later, Star Trek is still with me. It’s introduced me to most of my closest friends, to my wife, and by extension made me a father. And to this day it continues to entertain and inspire me. Happy #StarTrekDay everyone. :)

🧵 2/3 There’s a scene in The Dauphin, where Wes takes Salia to the holodeck to show her the singing asteroids. There was something wondrous about that scene that genuinely drew me in. Soon after, Who Watches The Watchers became the turning point where TNG became *my* #StarTrek.
