Me too. A small EV costing under 10-12K should be available here in the US. Instead we get the US auto industry cranking out massive SUVs and using the tech inside them to track the owner’s behavior
I had a Volt and a Bolt. Bought a Tesla Model 3 when cost to buy out Bolt lease was almost as much as the new M3. I pine for one of the numerous smaller, inexpensive EVs for sale in Europe/China.
I strongly believe that they really don't want to test the market for low-cost small cars. The response would be too strong to deny. Better to not give the public the option.
I was ready to buy a Chevy Bolt/used Volt, before they were retired. The industry’s expectation that Americans will shell out $40k for a new car is what really needs to be retired.
