These ads are easily the most abhorrently, overtly bigoted ones I've seen on television in my adult life. The idea that generalized animus towards a group gets refracted through particular issues in a political campaign is apparently new to this NYT reporter?

It’s astounding to me that the networks are even choosing to air them. Why isn’t there a story about that?

It's like the NYT staff are reborn anew every day to relearn all they had forgotten from the day before.
