Another sign betokening the fact that at least half the country hates education. I was an independently contracted lecturer for 6 years in an adult program at LIU where the new business model has completely destroyed both of its campuses. These big business administrators are wrong about everything.

What makes me nuts is they also slashed the MPA program and even the higher education administration grad schools. Like they don't value their own jobs. Even the math PhDs which means they have no more math TAs. And the natural resources and tourism/recreation management. In West Virginia!!

Consultants guaranteeing they get a new contract next year to fix this new problem.

I think this report is out of date. I thought they agreed to keep Chinese and one other language. (Not saying that makes much of a difference.)

It's a fucking travesty top to bottom at that place. WV is a small state that never had any industry other than coal and now that's dead! WVU was a university that punched way above its weight. My brother's work at WVU was so good Cornell headhunted him! It just pisses me off so much.
