Not stupid, good question. For lunch or panels you ask someone to keep an eye on it, maybe toss the sheet over it. I normally pack most of my stuff up at night in the boxes I brought it in and leave it under the table. Never had an issue. Hate to think you can't trust another exhibitor at the show.
