October 21st. An unfinished/abandoned illustration that I made for The Woman in Black.

An illustration of two men on a horse & cart making their way across a causeway toward a large Victorian house on a small island at the end of the causeway. The causeway is wet and muddy with deep tracks and seaweed strewn across it. A moody sky with bursts of sunlight illuminating the roof of the house and the estuary surrounding the island. Black crosshatch pen with printmaking ink applied with a roller on white paper. Atmospheric.
