Oh boy, these are fun! 2003 (yikes) vs 2024

OLD art from the first strip of my webcomic Treading Ground, circa 2003. Nate, looking very hamster-like, driving forward and getting excited as he listens to "Squeeze" by Tempted on the radio
Panel from the first page of the Treading Ground Prequel, just published last week. Two characters, Tracy and Nate, standing in the cash office of a grocery store. Tracy, wearing glasses and a name tag that says "Bookkeeper Tracy," teases Nate by saying, "Aww, so poor widdle Natey-Wate has to work a Saturday? Suck it up, buttercup!" Nate, wearing a collared shirt, rolls his eyes and responds with an exasperated expression, saying, "Ugh, here we go." The art is significantly improved!
