I actually had measles as a kid in the 60s. Vaccines weren’t available yet. My kids definitely had their shots for measles and they never got it.
Willful amnesia and lack of empathy with past experiences. When I was young everyone knew someone who had polio. Now no one does, therefore it doesn't and never did exist.
