Oregon's increase in overdose deaths was driven by fentanyl, not decriminalization. Decriminalization led to fewer arrests and better access to addiction treatment. Long-term benefits of decriminalization may not be readily apparent, yet there's growing consensus to roll it back.

There's a crowd of people who are determined to stop helping addicts. They want to take us back to 1950, and incarceration. Safe supply & decriminalization, along with other supports, are the best answer atm
