A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder series is genuinely fantastic!

Just talking to 14yo and one caveat was that Good Girl’s Guide is only cosy crime for first 2.5 books, the last half of the third book she found upsetting, dark and scary. Which is a problem, tonally. If kids get invested in cosy crime they want it to stay within those parameters.

Agreed. 14yo read those and really enjoyed them.
