You are expected to draw every little pose, which is the job of a posing director, character designer, and animator. Animation is SUCH a huge team sport. By putting board artists on this pedestal, companies have made MASSIVE pressure on a stage that used to be done competently on sticky notes.

I'm thankful that I was only ever a board revisionist Which, incidentally, is treated as a junior role and is better suited as a *supervisory* role, so I got to be a (paid like a) junior (to be a) supervisor, isn't that fun!!
