Guy waited five years and paid $102k for a Cybertruck, crashed it after four hours of driving, only for Tesla to tell him that "the accelerator may not disengage under braking" and that it will take $30k and one year to repair. Truly an L of historical proportions. www.reddit.com/r/RealTesla/...
I really wish I was a better person who felt worse for this guy.
"due to the terrain..."
When a customer and a company deserve eachother
On certain terrain the accelerator doesn't disengage is their straight-faced reply? Holy shit. I think I'm officially more scared of manned Teslas now than non-Tesla self-driving cars.
Elon Musk is a dangerous criminal. It's tempting to laugh at this, but at the same time I feel sympathy for the people who have been brainwashed into falling for his scams. It really does seem like people worship and put their trust in him like victims of scientology or other similar cults.
I hope that he's not expecting anyone to feel sorry for him.
Why is part of the damage barred out?
I have zero sympathy for him. I just cannot muster any feeling akin to “wow, poor guy.”
Couldn't have happened to better people.
Should have put a trigger warning for folks with a humiliation fetish, because this post is going to make them absolutely feral.
