I sail weekly during the summer I can count on my fingers how many times a fish swam next to my boat and every time I see a fish it is special whether I know what kind of fish it is or not.
It's the same for all these people spotting large fish in various lakes and going "I know my fish and that ain't any fish I've seen before, has to be a monster." You can just have seen a fish you failed to identify, that's special in and of itself. .

People seeing bears in the wild and thinking it must be bigfoot makes me so sad. Encountering a bear (or any wild large mammal) can feel surreal. It's a unique, rare experience most people don't live. You can feel special knowing you saw a wild bear. It doesn't need to be bigfoot to be special.
I'm actually pretty impressed I recognised her. Not by her features mind you, prosopagnosia stays bad, but she has a very characteristic speech I think. I love her so much actually and I love seeing her in movies and shows.
This October I'm only watching 1 show in the evenings, 3 nights a week. I chose revenant (srlzd.com/s/3370e) not really looking at the cast and I realised that Kim Tae-Ri is a main cast and this makes me so happy.
