Thank you for clarifying that article! Afaik, the 30% statistic is based on a study from the WHO, not on their case study. And it's completely right that this is based on data from developing countries, and so isn't as much of a concern in the us 😊

You're welcome. I wasn't trying to be snippy but the number just struck me as high. In the part of the world where this parasite is common, it does present a challenge for physicians in those areas because ofttimes they don't have the equipment or facilities to make such a diagnosis.
