I don't think bands like this actually have much say at all how their music is used... they sold away those rights long ago... Like I'm sure Trump used the song without the permission of "the Foo Fighters"... but I bet he don't need to talk to like... the drummer at all to legally licence a song...

I think accepting royalties for the use of the song is kinda like... implied permission...
