yeah and honestly it caused more problems because they didn't want to just flip the character model??

the problem is that doing that would still require them to adjust a ton of context-sensitive animations (doors opening, fights that actually keep the attack animations in mind, etc.) it is actually much simpler to mirror the camera output, Mario Kart does the same for mirror mode
