While the view from the summit of Wetterhorn Peak yesterday was spectacular, the fall colors being near peak across most of C/SW Colorado was a very close second place. One of my favorite pictures from this trip shows fallen golden tinted aspen leaves resting on pine needles as if it had snowed.

Beautiful pileus/Cb, shelf cloud, and some awesome waves at the leading edge of the gust front near Bear Lake, ID!

The lamb ribs are a must!!

Just a handful of pictures from the Bay Area this weekend. Had a blast with excellent people and enjoyed the amazing food and sights. I always love visiting this area!

Last night in SE Denver at the corner of Florida and Holly:

Contrails and pre-totality! The contrails were looking NE once we were climbing out of totality. Was neat to see the darker skies downstream! Wasn’t with Tim, but would love to see him in Norman while I’m here this week @plus tssn.bsky.social !

What an absolutely incredible experience it was to see a solar eclipse in totality. Near Mount Ida, Arkansas.
