tbf mastodon has been around for a lot longer, bsky has only been around for like 1-2 years, which means less time for apps to show up

it's even worse on mobile! And it also applies to changing moderation settings! I think it's refreshing the entire main page with the feed tabs (in the background!) every time the order is changed, which is very unnecessary imo

I've heard some people prefer light mode because the white text can cause glare on dark backgrounds, making them harder to read light mode also mimics irl black text on *paper*, which could be another reason
