getting released from the psych ward tomorrow; apprehensive about it but I'm also ready to leave (being in a psych ward isn't exactly a blast). am probably done with twitter, the rampant transphobia on there is just way too triggering, & staying positive & healthy is my #1 goal moving forward

today my therapist told me i find distractions to avoid my anxiety, creating a recursive loop of escapism and guilt. anyways this is how many Congressmen each state would have if only Alligators were citizens.

the counselor made the point that I'm definitely exhibiting signs of trauma considering how frequent & jarring all the harassment has been lately. everyone was so sympathetic to everything I had to say & it just feels so good to be taken seriously & listened to. getting a therapist is the next step

went to a mental health urgent care clinic today, felt really good to talk & just voice all of my recent anxieties and fears to people, people who are genuinely interested in seeing me get better. they're getting me a lexipro & trazodone supply to hold me over till I can see my doctor in a week
