This gossamer worm is such a graceful and tireless swimmer, drawing its fiery tail behind it like a sparkler held away from a body.
A ruby octopus wraps its arms in a spiral showing off its suckers. The photograph has been edited into vibrant psychedelic colors with the arms in magenta with indigo shadows and yellow, red, and green in the suckers. The arm framing the bottom edge is blue and green. Across all the arms individual chromatophores are like colorful pointilism.
