Pro rulebook reading hack. Colour e-readers are amazing, especially when you don't have the game yet and want to pre-read the rules.

My Kobo Libra H2O is a battle hardened warrior that's still hanging in there, and I love it... but whenever it goes, I'll scoop up one of these colour models. That looks really nice.

It doesn't come through in the picture, but the clarity and feel of a pdf on an ereader is so much more palatable than on a tablet.

There are color ereaders now? What a time to be alive! Would 100% prefer rules PDFs on an ereader over a tablet. Assuming the ereader size was big enough.

I’m getting tons of ads for the ReMarkable color… and I hear the new kindle will use color e-ink at a higher resolution. I was looking forward to my graphic novels… but I never thought of rulebooks this way. Another check that will enable me to spend the money on one! 🤩

I got the Clara Colour, but I considered the Libra too, purely for PDF purposes like this. I'm kind of jealous seeing your post, but I chose portability over screen size. I definitely agree that the screen is great, and seeing colours in e-ink feels magical!
