I like mine a lot. Page turn buttons are great, PDFs are very snappy (for an e-reader). The colour does have that desaturated quality and it does need more backlight than a regular e-reader. The size is great and also you can upload PDFs to Google Drive from your phone and access them on the reader.

Does it handle .cbr and .cbz (comic book zip) files?

Bonus: not being tied to the kindle ecosystem is now a must for me.
